Toronto Raptors 150 Brooklyn Nets 122

The Toronto Raptors completed the franchises first ever playoff sweep with a win over the Brooklyn Nets Sunday night.

Toronto exploded in the final game of the series scoring 150 points in game four.

The Raptors bench was huge pouring in 100 points in the blow out.

Norman Powell and Serge Ibaka led the way for Toronto in game four.

Powell scored 29 points in just 24 minutes off the bench while Ibaka scored 27 point and grabbed 15 boards in just 20 minutes off the bench.

With Toronto’s bench firing on all cylinders coach Nick Nurse choose to rest many of his starters in game four.

Especially point guard Kyle Lowry who tweaked an ankle early in the game.

Even without Lowry Toronto had no trouble finishing off the Nets.

Toronto shot fifty five per cent from the field in game four while shooting a blazing forty-six per cent from three.

The Raptors dominated on the glass out rebounding the Nets 57-44.

Toronto also out scored Brooklyn in the paint 58-28.

Caris LeVert was the high man for Brooklyn as he scored 35 points, adding 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

The Raptors dominated the Nets in round one. Only one game out of four finished within five points.

Toronto will now take on the Boston Celtics in round two of the NBA playoffs.

Boston also swept their first round matchup as they defeated the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Raptors will be in tough in round two as Boston boasts a very versatile lineup that has a lot of size and skill at the wing positions.

Toronto and Boston will face off in round two of the NBA playoffs on August 27th.
