After narrowly taking the opening game against the Marlins, the Toronto Blue Jays roster took command early on Wednesday night. Teoscar Hernandez and the newly-returned Georgre Springer both batted in runs at the top of the 1st. Bo Bichette extended the lead in the 5th and the Blue Jays players rode the momentum to another win.

Vladimir Geurrero Jr. was unable to add to his MLB-leading RBI and HR totals on the evening.

Robbie Ray picked up his 5th in of the season with another strong outing. He threw for 6 strikeouts, 5 hits, and 1 run against over 6 innings of work. In some good Blue Jays news, the bullpen pitched 3 shutout innings while only allowing 1 hit.

The team now travels back to Buffalo for the Blue Jays game today against Baltimore.
