The Toronto Blue Jays roster came out guns blazing on Thursday night. After sweeping a 2-game set in Miami, Toronto crushed the Baltimore Orioles 9-0 for their 5th straight victory. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. led the way for Blue Jays players offensively, hitting a grand slam in the 1st inning. Toronto snatched up a 6-0 lead after the first and never looked back.

Anthony Kay and four relievers out of the bullpen combined for the Jays 5th shutout of the season. Kay threw for a career-high 8 strikeouts over 6 innings while only allowing 5 hits.

In some good Blue Jays news, imminent all-star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a solo homerun in the 2nd. He once again leads the MLB with 24 homers on the season.

The squad will look to keep the good times rolling in the Blue Jays game today in Buffalo.
