After yet another late-inning collapse on Friday, the Toronto Blue Jays roster came out hungry for a win Saturday Afternoon. Toronto had three separate 4-run innings before the 7th, putting the game well out of reach for another Baltimore comeback.
Vladdy Guerrero Jr, Teoscar Hernandez, and Randal Grichuk all hit homers for the Jays, with the former connecting for his 25th of the season. Ace pitcher Hyun Jin Ryu picked up his 7th win of the season, allowing only 7 hits over 6 ⅔ innings.
In some good Blue Jays news, Guerrero Jr. tied his MLB Hall-of-Fame father by taking only 258 games to reach 50 home runs. Vladdy will look to keep swinging the hot bat during the Blue Jays game today against Baltimore.
