After a convincing win against Baltimore on Thursday night, the Toronto Blue Jays roster was well-positioned for another win. Toronto was up 5-1 heading into the 8th inning, when yet another bullpen collapse forced the game into extras. Trent Thorton walked 3-straight batters in the 10th, including the forced-in winning run.

The young Blue Jays players showed up once again, with Alek Manoah pitching 6 solid innings and Vladimir Guerror Jr. adding to his MLB-leading home run total. George Springer, Lourdes Gurriel Jr., and Marcus Semien also contributed on the offensive side for the Toronto Blue Jays.

In some good Blue Jays news, George Springer hit his first homer since returning from injury a few games ago.

The Blue Jays game today will be in Buffalo as Toronto looks for a bounce-back win.
