The Toronto Maple Leafs are finally firing on all cylinders. After a brutal 5-game losing streak, the team has collected itself and is now performing like the group they were at the beginning of the season.

Following the end of his historic 11 consecutive win streak, Jack Campbell looked as though he had entirely lost his confidence. But since the team’s impressive back-to-back wins against the Winnipeg Jets, he is once again performing at an elite level. Only letting one goal in on 33 shots, the Maple Leafs netminder put the team on his back and completely shut down the Canadiens’ offence.

With the victory tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs clinched the first playoff spot in the NHL’s north division. The Leafs aim to continue this momentum tomorrow versus the Canucks.
