Ottawa Redblacks 17, Toronto Argonauts 46

Wins don’t come around that often for the Toronto Argonauts, so they need to cherish them when they do.

They recorded just their second win of this season with a dominant display against the Ottawa Redblacks this past weekend.

Argos went on to win 46-17 after three touchdowns from James Wilder Jr.

There was also scored for Rodney Smith and Derel Walker in the win, as the Argos won away from home for the first time this campaign.

There was more good news as Quadarius Ford got his first points for the team, while S. J Green had an impressive 130 carrying yards.

It was a return to form for quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson as he registered 430 passing yards, which also included two scores.

The win saw the Argos record improve to two wins and nine defeats, but there is still a long way to go.

They won’t have the opportunity to build on this momentum as they don’t have a game next week. But, they return to action the following week with seven games remaining.

Peace,

Burke.
