Tampa Bay Rays 5, Toronto Blue Jays 3

The Toronto Blue Jays woes continued as they were handed another defeat by the Tampa Bay Rays.

Toronto succumbed to a 5-3 defeat yesterday, and there wasn’t a great deal for fans to shout about.

Daniel Robertson was the hero as he added more runs following an RBI earlier in the day.

It means that this is now a sixth defeat in a row for the Blue Jays.

They did have a positive note though, and that was the performance of Anthony Kay on his debut in the MLB.

He was brought in as part of the trade that saw Marcus Stroman go to New York.

The series concludes on Sunday, as the Jays will have a chance to rectify this result.

Peace,

Burke.
