Hamilton Tiger-Cats 38, Toronto Argonauts 27

It has been a season to forget for the Toronto Argonauts, but even this defeat will sting a little more than those that have proceeded it.

Last week may have been put down as a blip when they throw away a half time lead. But, to do it two games on the bounce is criminal beyond belief.

Not just that, but the Argos led by double-digit numbers only to allow their opponents back into the game.

The defeat means that the very best that the Argos can achieve this season is the frankly impossible record of breaking even and having nine wins and nine defeats.

Impossible is something that can often occur in sport, but don’t be holding your breath on the prospect of this happening.

McLeod Bethel-Thompson was once again a leading light for the Argos as he completed 339 passing yards to assist two touchdowns.

Derel Walker, Quadarius Ford and Trumaine Washington scored the touchdowns for the Argos.

A 24-11 halftime lead can’t even give the fans a taste that they could remember. The defeat was far too stinging in the end.

Peace,

Burke.
