Doug Smith Announces Toronto Raptors Book
Doug Smith has seen a lot of the Toronto Raptors throughout his career, and now he is going to share his story.
The veteran NBA reporter has revealed that he will release a book titled ‘We the North: 25 Years of the Toronto Raptors’. The book is to celebrate 25 years of the franchise and will be released in October next year.
Upon the announcement, Viking Canada released a statement. The publishing giant wrote: “[The book] will tell the story of Canada’s most exciting team, charting their rise from a sporting oddity in a hockey-mad country to the status they hold today as the reigning NBA champions and national heroes.”
The franchise has certainly come a long way over the 25 years, and Smith’s book will be a welcome addition for Raptors fans that want to get nostalgic.
