Toronto Blue Jays 7, Seattle Mariners 5

The Toronto Blue Jays picked up another win to add to their collection yesterday as they held off the Seattle Mariners to win 7-5.

The heroes of the hour were Bo Bichette and Teoscar Hernandes who each hit home runs.

It certainly wasn’t the return to Toronto that Felix Hernandez was expecting. He had spoken in the build up about how he could take advantage of the Blue Jays struggles.

It didn’t play out that way.

Hernandez allowed just four hits. The Jays rallied deep in the game to end a six-game losing streak with four runs in the seventh.

The runs were drove in by Vladimir Guerrero Jr, Rowdy Tellez as well as Bichette.

Bichette was at the root of everything good that the Blue Jays did. On this form, he could be a star.

Peace,

Burke.
