Hip-Hop superstar hosts concert through Epic Games during COVID-19
Travis Scott and Epic Games teamed up Thursday night to host a virtual concert.
The concert hosted through the game Fortnite was a way for Scott to introduce his new song “The Scotts.”
The in-game event lasted for ten minutes.
Each time a new track played, the Fortnite island changed visuals and adjusted effects.
Popular Fortnite personalities like Ninja , Tfue, CouRage, and DrLupo streamed the entire event.
The event can certainly be regarded as a new way of viewing a concert.
Using a platform such a Fortnite to host a concert very well might be something that becomes a trend.
With the on going pandemic it is a very creative way to expand what a concert can be.
