New York Yankees 8, Toronto Blue Jays 3
Toronto Blue Jays fans will be hoping that this season will be coming to an end rather soon.
The New York Yankees were in a dominant mood as they overcame the struggling Jays to win 8-3 yesterday.
The Yankees went ahead early in the game as they took a 4-0 advantage following the first inning. They added two further runs to that in the second.
The Blue Jays managed to get their points on the board in the seventh, but by that point, they were already trailing by eight.
DJ LeMarian added two RBI’s, while Aaron Judge and Greg Stanton also got one apiece.
Toronto have now fallen to 93 defeats this season, and have only won on 63 occasions.
Meanwhile, the Yankees have only lost 55 times and won 102 times. Billy McKinney had the three RBI’s for the Blue Jays on a miserable day for the team.
Peace,
Burke.
