The Blue Jays schedule has been nothing short of brutal.

Toronto has played 28 games in 27 days. With injuries taking a toll the Jays have weathered the storm.

After suffering a loss to Miami on Tuesday Toronto rallied to defeat the Marlins on Wednesday.

Hyun-jin Ryu pitched a master-full game Wednesday for the Jays.

The Jays biggest off-season acquisition has proved his worth this season and showed it again on Wednesday.

Ryu pitched six innings giving up just one earned run while striking out eight.

After Ryu’s great outing Toronto had just three innings to cover to seal the the victory.

Ryu covered the Jays all game long as the Jays suffered mistakes throughout.

Base-running errors, fielding errors, and Jays still came away with the win.

With so many trades at the deadline Toronto is still working in their new pieces and clearly signals were getting crossed.

Newest addition Johnathan Villar was responsible for three of the errors, many of them being base running errors.

Toronto will have work to do as they look to sure up those errors coming down the stretch.

Miami sent Sixto Sanchez to the mound Wednesday.

Sanchez pitched seven innings stymieing Toronto batters all night .

If not for a solid outting from Ryu Toronto could of been in trouble.

With the win Toronto improves to 19-16 on the season and sit 5.5 games back of Tampa for first in the AL East.

Toronto has a quick turn around, as they head to Boston for a five game series with the Red Sox.

The Jays will take on the Sox Thursday at 7:30pm EST.
