The Raptors started slow out of gate, but used a monster second half to handle the Nets.

In a tale of two halves the Raptors defence shined keeping them in the contest at the Barclays centre Saturday night. Toronto forced the Nets into 24 turnovers in the game, leading to thirty more possessions for the Raptors.

The Raptors back court was huge in the game with Fred Van Fleet posting 29 points 11 assists and 4 rebounds Alongside Kyle Lowry who posted 26 points 5 assists and 4 rebounds.

Serge Ibaka was dominant in the paint as well posting 21 points and 12 rebounds.

Brooklyn were paced by Spencer Dinwiddie who finished with 23 points and 7 assists were outscored in the paint 54-34 and out rebounded 43-38.

While Brooklyn started out hot in the first half the adjustments made by Toronto in the second half were just too much for the Nets to handle.

Turnovers and the Raptors play after half led to them outscoring the Nets 73 to 50 in the second half.

The Raptors will head home for a matchup against the Portland Trailblazers on January 7th Tip off is 8:30 pm EST.
