Boston Bruins 4, Toronto Maple Leafs 2

The recent troubles for the Toronto Maple Leafs continued on Friday as they were humbled by the Boston Bruins.

The Bruins was able to ease to a 4-2 victory following a brace from Brad Marchand. His goals included one to put the Bruins 3-2 ahead.

Zdeno Chara also got a goal for the Bruins, while Charlie Coyle capped his mesmeric display with a goal of his own.

The match saw two of the most out of form sides in the league go head to head, as the Bruins had also not won in four.

Auston Matthews and Kasperi Kapanen had hit back for Toronto but they very rarely looked like the team that were going to win this clash.

Toronto have now lost their last four, and needed 33 saves from Frederik Andersen to keep the score down.

Peace,

Burke.
