Toronto Maple Leafs 4, Boston Bruins 3

Toronto Maple Leafs fans would tell you that there is nothing sweeter than beating the Boston Bruins, and that was precisely what happened last night.

The Scotiabank was in full cry as the Leafs scored in the extra period to cement a 4-3 win over their long time rivals.

The Maple Leafs were ahead 2-1 after the first period, but the Bruins got back into the game in the final period to pull ahead 2-1.

Toronto’s goals on the night were scored by Alexander Kerfoot, Dimitri Timashov, and a brace for Morgan Reilly.

The Bruins had responded through David Pastrnak, Jake DeBrusk and David Heinen.

The Leafs were able to get the win in the additional time much to the delight of the home fans and the staff in the technical area.

The Maple Leafs host the Blue Jackets in their next game in the NHL.

Peace,

Burke.
