Toronto Maple Leafs 2, Vegas Golden Knights 4

It was another disappointing night for the Toronto Maple Leafs as they were humbled in Sin City by the Vegas Golden Knights.

The 4-2 defeat could easily spell the end for Babcock, who has been unable to get his team firing on all cylinders over recent weeks.

Cody Glass scored the all important goal of the game to pull the Golden Knights clear of the Leafs. Cody Eakin, Tomas Nosek and Mark Stone also found the net for the Leafs.

Jason Spezza had threatened a comeback for the Leafs when he equalised, but it wasn’t to be.

Zach Hyman also scored for the Leafs, while Frederik Andersen made 36 saves in the defeat. Whether the performance will be enough for Babcock to stay in his position remains to be seen.

Peace,

Burke.
