Toronto Raptors 132, Charlotte Hornets 96

OG Anunoby was the star of the show as he produced a coming of age performance as the Toronto Raptors returned to the Scotiabank with a big win over the Charlotte Hornets.

The Brit would have felt happy with his night’s work after scoring 24 points, but he was forced off during the fourth period due to being pocked in the eye.

Pascal Siakam was also in brilliant form as he scored 20 points, before being rested for the fourth period with the hard work done. The Raptors were able to ease to a 132-96 victory in the end.

Norman Powell added 17 points for the Raptors, while Terence Davis and Rondar Hollis-Jefferson added 16 and 15 respectively.

The win was the biggest of the season for the NBA champions, and it also ensured that they maintained their excellent home record. They have now won their last five at the Scotiabank.

Charlotte also showed glimpses of their best, and they were led by Marvin Williams who ended with 14. Bismack Biyombo and Miles Bridges had 13 apiece for the Hornets.

Toronto are back at home again tomorrow when the Orlando Magic are in town.

Peace,

Burke.
