After an explosive outing on Friday from the Blue Jays Roster, Toronto came out with another strong showing on Saturday. The game was tight for most of the afternoon, with things tied up at 1-1 going into the 6th. But the Toronto Blue Jays exploded for 5 runs in the inning to put the game out of reach.

George Springer, Vlddy Guerrero Jr, Cavan Biggio, Teoscar Hernandez, and Santiago Espinal all batted in runs for the Blue Jays players. Ross Stripling pitched for 5 and 2/3rds innings, striking out 5 while only giving up 1 earned run.

In some good Blue Jays news, rookie Santiago Espinal hit his first homerun of the year. Toronto now sits just 3 games back of the Rays pending the result of the Blue Jays game today.
