On the road again after a long home stand, the Toronto Blue Jays roster was in Baltimore Tuesday night. Looking to prevent another losing streak, the Blue Jays were confident going in against the lowly Orioles. Unfortunately, a 5-run 5th inning for Baltimore put the game firmly out of reach. Toronto dropped the opener 7-5.

MLB All-Star Vladdy Guerrero Jr. had another strong offensive outing to lead all Blue Jays players. He batted in 2 runs, including his 28th homer of the year. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and Randal Grichuk also hit home runs for the Jays.

In other Toronto Blue Jays news, the team bolstered their bullpen by trading Rowdy Tellez to the Brewers for righty Trevor Richards.

Hyun Jin Ryu will look to lead the team to victory in the Blue Jays game today.

Blue Jays Schedule: @BlueJays at @Orioles Wednesday July 7th at 7:05pm
