The Toronto Blue Jays roster dominated the Tampa Bay Rays for the first two games of their series. But on Saturday, the team from Central Florida bounced back to prevent a 6th-straight loss.

Toronto was ahead for the first half of the game thanks to Randal Grichuk’s 15th homer of the year. But the Rays got to Robbie Ray in the 6th, batting in a couple of runs and riding a 2-run lead to the top of the 9th. From there, the Toronto Blue Jays players couldn’t hold it together and the Rays extended their lead to 5-1.

With the loss, the Jays now sit 4 games back of Tampa for 2nd in the MLB’s AL East division. In some good Blue Jays news, the team now heads back to Baltimore to try and regain some ground.

There is no Blue Jays game today.
