The Toronto Blue Jays took advantage of an uncharacteristically sloppy White Sox team to even the series after Monday’s loss. Chicago was in control for the majority of the night, riding solid pitching from ace Lance Lynn over 7 innings. They carried a 2-1 lead into the 8th inning.

But the bullpen and defense let Toronto’s high-powered offence back in the game, giving up 5 runs over the final 2 innings on 4 errors.

Toronto Blue Jays rookie pitcher Alek Manoah looked solid in his 3rd MLB start, striking out 4 over 5 innings. Randal Grichuk hit a monster 450-foot homer in the second for his 13th HR of the year. Tyler Chatwood picked up the win out of the Jays’ bullpen, with a strikeout and no hits against over the final inning.
