While it wasn’t anything close to the team’s fourth quarter in Utah, the Toronto Raptors once again could not close. The Raptors, despite not having four of their rotation players, put up an incredible effort versus a Clippers team with title intentions.

While Fred Vanvleet and Pascal Siakam were the best players for the Raptors, the real star was the team’s defence. The LA Clippers currently post one of the NBA’s top offences, scoring about 114 points a game against their opponents. The Toronto Raptors were able to limit the club to just 105 points in sixty minutes. Similarly, the Raptors limited their former superstar Kawhi Leonard to just 13 points and 3 rebounds.

Another disappointing loss, but another hard fought effort. And it is game’s like this that allow Toronto’s younger talent to develop their skills and come back stronger next season.
