Los Angeles Dodgers 3, Toronto Blue Jays 2

The Toronto Blue Jays may have been forgiven for thinking that win against the Los Angeles Dodgers was within their grasp.

However, the brilliance of Enrique Hernadez at the bottom of the second ensured that the win just wasn’t going to come.

The Jays were therefore sweeped in the series, despite being 2-0 up on this occasion.

There were just the four hits for the Blue Jays, with the rare bright spark being Vladimir Guerero. The rookie scored two runs on his hit to life the Jays into a strong position.

The win came just a day after their 2-1 win and capped a 12th success of the season with a walk-off.

There is work to be done for the Jays side.

Peace,

Burke.
