Los Angeles Dodgers 2, Toronto Blue Jays 1

The Toronto Blue Jays are on the brink of a sweep against them at the hands of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The damage was inflicted by Max Muncy who scored his tenth home run of the season to secure the win for the Dodgers.

The Dodgers will be thankful that they have Muncy, as he has now scored five straight games for them.

This appearance may not have been as eye catching as his one 24 hours earlier. On that occasion, he struck 15 hits.

Joe Kelly was forced to step aside midway through the innings as he come up against the second-generation hitters that the Jays boast.

Guerrero wasn’t one of them however as he was missing from the starting line-up due to a concern with his knee.

Charlie Montoyo admitted that it wasn’t a serious issue and that he will be back soon.

Peace,

Burke.
