Toronto Raptors 125 Boston Celtics 122

The Raptors came away with a win in game six against the Celtics on Wednesday night.

In what can only be described as a a barn burner, Toronto was able to outlast Boston.

A must win game for Toronto was a back and forth affair with no team looking to give an inch.

Game 6 went into double overtime with both teams having opportunities to close out the game.

Norman Powell and Kyle Lowry were huge for Toronto down the stretch.

Powell had a and one bucket to put the Raptors ahead and Lowry made game winning plays time and time again.

None bigger than his turn around shot over Kemba Walker to put the final nail in the coffin.

This Toronto Raptors team has no quit.

Lead by Kyle Lowry this team will never lose in the hustle department.

Lowry had a game high 33 points posting 8 rebounds and 6 assists to boot.

Jaylen Brown was the high man for Boston scoring 31 points while grabbing 16 rebounds.

Browns 31 was inefficient though as he took 30 shots hitting on just 11 in game six.

Boston out performed Toronto in every statistical category in game six but Toronto was still able to muscle out a victory.

Head coach Nick Nurse went small in the overtime putting O.G. Anunoby at the five.

A risky move, but it payed off.

Torontos ability to run Boston off the three in overtime proved to be the game decider.

Will Toronto gave up multiple buckets on the inside in overtime Toronto was hitting threes while Boston was getting just two pointers on their possessions.

The two eastern conference juggernauts will now clash in game 7 on Friday night.

Toronto will look to advance to the eastern conference final for the second year in a row at 9pm EST.
