Toronto Raptors beat Detroit Pistons 105-92
The Raptors have extended their win streak to ten games.
In the Motor City Friday night, Toronto was firing on all cylinders.
Toronto shot a blazing 51 percent from the field scoring 66 points in the paint.
Detroit had no answer for the Raptors front court in the contest.
The Raps led from the jump and never relinquished the lead.
The Raptors front court combined for 57 points in the contest with Pascal Siakam and Serge Ibaka scoring 30 and 21 points respectfully.
Fred VanFleet had a near triple double for the second game in a row, finishing with 16 points 9 assists and 8 rebounds.
It was a real team effort for Toronto as they had 26 assists on 44 made field goals.
Top performer for Detroit was Andre Drummond who finished with 20 points and 20 rebounds in the game.
Derrick Rose also had a strong performance for the Pistons finishing with 21 points and 3 assists.
Detroit struggled to score against the Raptors defence shooting just 35 percent from the field in the game.
The Pistons were also unable to muster much of an effort off the bench, getting just 2 points from its reserves.
With the win the Raptors have cemented themselves in the second spot in the eastern conference.
Toronto currently sits 3 games above the third place Celtics, and 6 games behind the first place Bucks.
The Raptors will now head back home for a two game home stand, starting with the Chicago Bulls.
Toronto will take on the Bulls Sunday afternoon at 3pm EST.
