After a historic MLB outing on Sunday afternoon, the Toronto Blue Jays players were in tough against a stingier Red Sox outfit. Boston starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi held the Blue Jays roster to just 3 hits over 6 innings. Toronto was down 1-0 for the majority of the game thanks to a 3rd inning RBI from Alex Verdugo.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. certainly made things interesting late with his 22nd HR of the season, but Boston got one back to seal the victory.

In some good Blue Jays news, rookie pitcher Alek Manoah had another strong outing Monday. He struck out 5 batters over 6 innings while only giving up 4 hits and 1 run. With the game tied at 1 in the 9th, closer Rafael Dolis gave up three hits, including the winning single to Boston’s Rafael Devers.

The Blue Jays game today will be played in Buffalo.

Blue Jays schedule: @BlueJays vs @Yankees on Tuesday June 15th at 7:07pm
