After enacting their revenge on the Toronto Blue Jays roster on Wednesday, the Seattle Mariners put on again Thursday night. Toronto struggled to get anything going offensively and the Mariners hitters got to the Blue Jays player early and often.

Seattle starter Yusei Kikuchi struck out 6 over 7 innings while only giving up one run, a homer to Marcus Semien in the 1st. Bo Bichette batted in Semien again in the 8th, the only other offense the Blue Jays would muster.

Hyun Jin Ryu got roughed up for 5 runs in 4 innings. The bullpen was solid for Toronto after the transition, but they got little help offensively.

In some good Blue Jays news, Vladdy Guerrero Jr, Marcus Semien, and Teoscar Hernandez were all named to the starting lineup of the MLB’s AL All-Star team.

The Blues Jays game today is in Buffalo against the Rays.

Blue Jays schedule: @BlueJays vs @Rays Friday July 2nd at 7:07pm
