After a strong performance to open the three-game set, the Toronto Blue Jays players were in tough against Seattle. The Mariners pulled ahead multiple times throughout the game, but the Jays battled back to tie it up. Even at 6-all, Dylan Moore hit a 3-run shot for Seattle to put them up by 3. Cavan Biggio appeared to spark another comeback, batting in a run in the bottom of the 10th, but the Mariners snuffed it out for a 9-7 victory.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. led the Toronto Blue Jays roster offensively, with 2 hits, a homer, and 3 RBIs. After a tough few innings from Matz and Thornton, Anthony Kay started in the 5th, picking up 5 strikeouts over 4 innings.

In some good Blue Jays news, the Ray and Yankees also lost on Wednesday night.
