After a travel day Monday, the Blue Jays players were looking to continue their winning ways against Seattle. The Toronto Blue Jays put it on the Seattle Mariners, with a 15-hit, 9-run outing. The win improves the team’s record to 8-2 over their past 10. 

Marcus Semien led the way offensively for Toronto, with 3 hits and 5 RBIs, including a homerun in 7th. Bo Bichette and Cavan Biggio also drove in runs for the Jays. 

On the other side of the ball, Robbie Ray picked up his 6th win of the season with a strong outing. He threw for 6 innings, only allowing 5 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 10 Mariners batters. 

In some good Blue Jays news, Toronto gained ground on Tampa in the MLB’s AL East division. The Blue Jays game today is in Buffalo.
