Toronto Maple Leafs 3, LA Kings 1

The Toronto Maple Leafs managed to make it two wins from two last night as they held off the LA Kings narrowly.

The Kings went into the game having won on five occasions this season. However, the Leafs made no mistake and seized their chances when they arose to win 3-1.

Austin Matthews, William Nylander and Alexander Kerfoot got the goals for the home side.

Toronto managed to hold their nerve in the final period to get the win after being tied at one apiece after the second period. The Kings had no response for the dynamic forward line.

The Leafs also got 25 saves from Frederik Andersen in the win, as he returned to the line-up after missing their last fixture. The Kings goal was scored by Alex Iafallo, but they were outclassed in Toronto.

Mike Babcock would have breathed a sigh of relief as his job may have hinged on getting a more comfortable win following the shooutout success last time out.

Peace,

Burke.
