Toronto Blue Jays 6 New York Yankees 20

If Tuesday is any indication, the Yankees and Blue Jays are not in the same league.

Toronto was outmatched in every aspect of Tuesdays game against New York.

This is part of a trend that has been developing with Toronto.

When the Jays win they win, but when they lose they lose big.

This is the second time in the last 4 games that the Blue Jays have given up over 15 runs to an opponent.

The Yankees scored seven runs in the second inning on Tuesday. Blowing the game wide open.

It was smooth sailing for New York from there on.

New York Scored five in the third and four in the fourth inning.

Toronto was able to manufacture eleven hits but Yankees pitcher Devi Garcia limited Toronto to just three runs in seven innings.

With the loss Toronto falls behind the Yankees in the AL East.

Toronto controls their own destiny this season, but will have to put together wins in order to get a good position in the post season.

If the playoffs were to begin today Toronto would face the Tampa Bay Rays.

Toronto has not had much success against the Rays this season so looking to avoid that matchup would be best.

Luckily for the Jays they have a quick turnaround to forget and correct the mistakes from Tuesday.

Toronto will take on the Yankees once again on Wednesday night.

Game is set for 7:05pm EST.
