Finally, after more than two weeks, there is finally hope on the horizon for the Toronto Raptors. After losing three members of their starting lineup due to the league’s health and safety protocols, Pascal Siakam and Fred Vanvleet have finally been cleared to practice. And this couldn’t come at a better time.
Having lost five games in row, the Toronto Raptors haven’t been able to produce the offence or defence necessary to compete for a playoff spot in the NBA’s Eastern Conference. With the reintroduction of some of these key players, the Raptors may finally be able to put together a winning stretch to put them back in the postseason conversation.
Despite this good news, however, Toronto’s stars may not touch the floor in tonight’s faceoff against the Detroit Pistons. As a result, don’t be shocked to see the same starting lineup as the previous games with Baynes at the 5 and Bembry and Johnson as the wings.
