Chicago Bulls 84, Toronto Raptors 108
The Toronto Raptors got back to winning ways with a big win over the Chicago Bulls to ruin their opening night of the season.
The Raptors were dominant at both ends of the court and managed to wrap up the game and win 108-84.
Toronto were relentless throughout the night and scored at least 24 points in each period.
Pascal Siakam led the Raptors by scoring 19 points, while OG Anunobby added 17 for a strong opening to his NBA season.
The Bulls didn’t look much like playoff contenders, and they have a long way to go before they can be put in the same category as this dominant Raptors side.
Serge Ibaka also added 18 points for the Raps, while Kyle Lowry and Fred VanFleet also ended the night with 11 and 16 points respectively.
The Bulls were led by 12 points from Wendell Carter Jr, while Zach LaVine also added 11. Lauri Markkanen is enduring an opening to forget, and he was once again not at the races as he could only score nine points.
The result was never in doubt once the Raptors got ahead, and they will be hoping that they can keep this offensive performance up over the coming weeks.
Peace,
Burke.
