Detroit Pistons 99, Toronto Raptors 112

The Toronto Raptors bad run of form is certainly a thing of the past if their recent performances are anything to go by. They made it three wins on the bounce with a 112-99 success over the Detroit Pistons last night.

Toronto led by six at half time after their impressive run of 40 points in the second period. They extended that lead in the third by outscoring the Pistons 26-15.

The Raptors slowed down a little in the final period, but the hard work was already done.

Kyle Lowry recorded a triple-double in the win. He scored 20 points in the 39 minutes he spent on the court. He added ten rebounds and ten assists for the vibrant Raptors.

Pascal Siakam led the Raptors with 26 points, while Serge Ibaka was also in great form as he scored 25 points. OG Anunoby was the only other Raptor to score more than ten points as he ended with 19.

Andre Drummond led the Pistons with 22 points. Derrick Rose recorded 16 points and there was also 15 points for Blake Griffin. Bruce Brown Jr also ended the night with 12 points.

Detroit ended the game with a better success rate from the field. However, the Raptors were far more clinical from beyond the arc as they scored on 37.1% of their efforts.

Toronto are back in action on Friday night when they take on the Washington Wizards at the Scotiabank.
