Toronto Raptors beat Chicago Bulls 129-102
The Toronto Raptors took down the Chicago Bulls Sunday afternoon at Scotiabank arena.
With the win Toronto extends its winning streak to 11 games.
Toronto also extended its lead over the Boston Celtics for second place in the Eastern Conference.
The Raptors are the hottest team in the association right now, with just five games left before the all-star break.
It was a total team effort for Toronto against the Bulls Sunday, as seven Raptors scored in double figures.
Toronto’s bench was huge in the contest, scoring 66 points, out scoring the Bulls bench by 37.
Rookie Terrance Davis showed once why Masai Ujiri is a mastermind when it comes to drafting players.
Davis scored 31 points off the bench for Toronto, shooting 12 of 15 from the floor in just 28 minutes of play.
The Raptors front court had another strong performance as both Siakam and Ibaka played well.
Siakam finshed with 17 points 9 rebounds and 5 assists, while Ibaka had 16 points and 6 rebounds.
Chris Boucher had a strong game off the bench for Toronto as well, finishing with 15 points and 5 rebounds.
Toronto shot 56% from the floor, while shooting a blazing 47% from three against Chicago.
The Raptors outscored the Bulls 56-40, Something the Raptors have been doing very well during their win-streak.
Thaddeus Young was the high man for Chicago finsihing with 21 points and 7 rebounds.
While Zach LaVine chipped in with 18 points 7 rebounds and 7 assists.
Toronto will now have two days off until they take on the Indiana Pacers Wednesday night at Scotiabank Arena.
The Pacers currently sit in 5th place in the East, just 5 games back of Toronto in the standings.
This will be a good test for Toronto at home against a good Pacers team.
The Pacers have a great power forward in first time all-star Domantas Sabonis
Indiana is also trying to work Victor Oladipo back into the rotation after his gruesome quad injury last season.
