Toronto Raptors 105 Miami Heat 117

Toronto closed out the pre-season on Friday night.

The Raptors finished 2-1 in preseason with a loss to the Miami Heat on Friday night.

Toronto welcomed point guard Kyle Lowry back to the lineup in its final pre-season game.

Lowry was impressive in his return.

The Raptors floor general finished Friday’s contest with 25 points and 3 assists in 27 minutes of action.

Pascal Siakam looked to return to form on Friday as well, finishing with 14 points and 9 rebounds in 28 minutes.

While Torontos two stars were impressive on Friday night, The Raptors as a whole were less than impressive in their final pre-season game.

Toronto fell behind early in the third quarter and Miami never looked back.

Miami shot 51% from behind the arc and 53% from the field on Friday.

Toronto shot just 38 percent from the field while shooting just 35 percent from three.

Miami’s three point shooting was just too much for the Raptors to handle on Friday night.

The Heat also also out rebounded Toronto 51 to 38.

Kezie Okpala led the way for Miami pouring in 24 points in 34 minutes of play.

Miami looks to have found another diamond in the rough with Okpala.

The Heat drafted Okpala with the 32nd pick in the second round of the 2019 draft.

Toronto made their final roster cuts as they head into the regular season.

The Raptors cut ties with Oshae Brissett, Alize Johnson, and Henry Ellenson.

With the final roster set, Toronto will now prepare for their season opener against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night.

The Raptors will take on Zion Williamson and the Pelicans at 7:30pm EST.
