The Toronto Blue Jays almost completely reversed the score of their previous matchup with the Astros in a dominant Houston win.
One of Toronto’s biggest question marks as of late has been its pitching roster. While Nate Pearson is nearing a return, the Jays have had to try and solve their starter gap. Steven Matz, to the surprise of Blue Jays fans, has emerged as a competent starting pitcher. While he did give up 8 hits in just 5 innings of play, the Blue Jays defence was able to limit the Astros to just 3 runs.
In other Blue Jays news, we need to talk about the red hot Danny Jansen. Jano has now hit a home-run in 3 consecutive games after posting what was almost a league worst .087 hit percentage.
