Montreal Canadiens 0, Toronto Maple Leafs 3
The Toronto Maple Leafs continued their excellent pre-season form with another dominant display against the Montreal Canadiens last night.
The Leafs scored in the final two periods to run away with a 3-0 lead and take full advantage of a rested squad.
It was a much changed line-up that took to the ice for the match, and one particular player stood out more than most.
Michael Hutchinson seized his chance as he made 39 saves to keep a clean sheet against a powerful attacking front line.
There was a brace for Nican Petan, while David Archibald also got his name on the scoresheet in the win.
The Maple Leafs are back in action against the Canadians in a few days time.
Peace,
Burke.
