The last few weeks I’ve been feeling sad about the possible end of an incredible career for Jose Baptista in Toronto. In our twisted world of sports, a class act like Jose heads into the playoffs without a contract extension in hand but is required to produce on a nightly basis with everything on the line and in the last few weeks he has. But is last years bat flip was the past, Edwin Encarnacion showed a glimpse of the future with a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th to send the Blue Jays to ALDS vs the Texan Rangers on Thursday, October 6, 2016.
