Columbus Crew 2-2 TFC

The form of TFC has fallen off a cliff over recent weeks, and that was highlighted once again against the Columbus Crew.

Jozy Altidore needed to score late to salvage a point in the game. The draw wasn’t enough to put them back into the top six.

It also means that TFC haven’t won in the MLS for the last three matches.

The performance was also not what TFC fans have grown accustomed too as they were well below par and looked legless all over the field.

TFC looked like a team that were tired, which is something that hasn’t been the case for the rest of this season.

The game was a decent start for Toronto as Jonathan Osorio put them ahead. However, it was quickly turned on its head.

Goals from David Accam and Pedro Santos saw the struggling Crew ahead against TFC.

The Crew weren’t streetwise enough to hang on for the point and instead encouraged TFC onto them in the final third.

They would regret making that tactical mistake as Altidore capitalised on a brilliant cross from the wing to head home.

Peace,

Burke
