Air Jordan 12 Retro marks the Jordan brand officially becoming a member of the Nike family, as the company was brought on as a subsidiary. The last drop of the decade, the Jordan 12 closes out 2020 with an ode to the fabled “Flu Game”, that occurred when Jordan won his 5th title against the Bulls. The palette pays homage to the game with a reversed colour blocking colorway. The red and orange tones and elegant stitching symbolize the Japanese flag and the rising sun image. The sneaker is mainly leather and uses a mock reptile skin texture on the mudguard. The colourful suede uppers are accentuated by fine black accents throughout. An embroidered Jumpman branding is found on the tongue and pull tab heel. The Zoom Air cushion sits underneath a durable foam midsole. The rubber outsole provides excellent traction, perfect for the courts.
