It didn’t take long after an initial reveal for pro skater Lucien Clarke to reveal two more colourways of his Louis Vuitton skate shoe – the first skate shoe for the French fashion house.
The recently introduced third colourway – a clean white with orange – is the lightest model to date.
Also available in black and grey, Clarke designed the shoes in collaboration with Virgil Abloh, the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear collection.
The Lucien Clarke x Louis Vuitton skate shoe features an early ‘00s silhouette, with layered mesh and suede uppers, and semi-translucent midsoles. Lucien Clarke’s signature is featured on the side, and Louis Vuitton logo is found on the tongue and heel tab.
Three LV monogram graphics appear on the soles.
With their inevitably steep price tag, you may want to reserve these shoes for special occasions, as opposed to shredding them to pieces the skate park. But you do you.
