Attention Star Wars fans: Adidas has another collaboration with the famous film franchise.
To mark the 49th anniversary of the Star Wars franchise’s most critically acclaimed film, The Empire Strikes Back, Adidas has decided to deck out a pair of Stan Smith’s Luke Skywalker style.
The Skywalker-inspired Stan Smiths feature a clean white and blue colourway. The blue is a nod to the colour of Skywalker’s famous lightsaber. The white is thought to either reflect his allegiance to Jedi, or Cloud City, the place where he learned Darth Vader was his father.
The outsoles of the shoes spell out Skywalker’s unforgettable yell, “Nooooo,” post his face-off with Vader – an iconic moment in the film. Other Skywalker-inspired details include a small depiction of him on the tongue, the Rebel insignia on the heel, and vibrant prints of him in Cloud City on the insoles.
The Star Wars galaxy print box that houses the shoes is as nice as the kicks themselves. The box also comes with a set of four enamel pins depicting R2D2, Luke’s Lightsaber, his X-Wing, as well as Yoda.
The Adidas Stan Smith Luke Skywalker shoe retails for $120 USD.
