At a time when there’s perhaps more comfort in nostalgia than ever before, Jordan Brand’s Summer 2020 retro collection marks a return to times past with the reappearance of beloved styles.
The collection mixes it up with re-releases of classics, revamps of timeless Air Jordan silhouettes from back in the day, new models for the ladies, and even the tie-dye trend.
Recreated throwback styles include the Air Jordan 13 “Flint,” the Air Jordan 4 “Metallic Pack,” and – coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the iconic Air Jordan 5 – the original Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” colourway. The collection also features the “Top 3,” model, which combines three Air Jordan 5 styles: Fire Red, Metallic, and Grape.
Other appreciated re-releases include the Air Jordan 7 “Hare 2.0,” the Air Jordan 1 High “Court Purple,” and a new Air Jordan 11 Low. Refreshingly, the collection features solid options for females that feature three new colourways, including a new Air Jordan Low “Concord,” the Air Jordan 1 High “Tie-Dye,” and the Air Jordan 4 Rasta.
Here’s a look at the collection.
